Senior Citizen Pet Adoption Program
This program is available to anyone 55 years of age and
older.
The way the program works is that anyone meeting the age requirement will be able to adopt
any cat or dog, over the age of 1 year at 1/2 price*.
* All dogs six months or older must be licensed before leaving the shelter. State dog license fees are $8.50 for unaltered dogs, $6.50 for altered
dogs. Senior Citizens 65 yrs and older State dog license fees are $6.50 for unaltered dogs, $4.50 for
altered dogs.
