2010 Membership Discount Sponsorships

Membership Discount Sponsors offer a discount on a product or service to HLLC's Members. The Membership Discount Sponsors are listed our website, included in mailings to the 2,000 members of the Humane League, and included in an enewsletter which is sent to over 5,000 subscribers. There is no cost to the business to participate in this program, and members are given cards with their membership number and dates listed so that the businesses can track how many members utilize this service. Dog Bank Sponsors

Dog Bank Sponsors have a Humane League Dog Bank, which they keep in a visible location, such as at a checkout register. A volunteer comes to collect the money and bring it into the shelter. Special Event Sponsors

These sponsorships provide the highest level of business exposure to our members. Sponsorship packages vary based on the event and the level of support. There are opportunities for donations in kind, donations of auction items for the Wags and Whiskers Dinner Auction, and goodie bag items and awards for the Tailwagger's Trot. Purrs and Wags Sponsors

The HLLC holds events for donors, volunteers, and HLLC supporters to thank them for their support, showcase upcoming initiatives, and to highlight HLLC friendly businesses. The Purrs and Wags event sponsors can choose from the following:

Event Sponsor: offer a location between 5-7pm on a Friday night. This provides your business exposure to new clients and generates good will through the visible support of the HLLC. Event sponsors have offered a percentage of sales by HLLC invitees that evening to the HLLC as a donation.

Hospitality Sponsor: Provides the food and or drink for the evening. This is a great opportunity to showcase catering services, or to highlight a new food product or to have your business name associated with the event through supporting the costs of food and beverages.

Arts Sponsor: Sponsor the display of artwork by a local artist. This is a great way to get your name or the name of your favorite local artist in front of a crowd of animal lovers, ideal for all artists and particularly those whose work includes animal themes.

We prefer animal friendly locations for one or two of our well behaved canine guests, a basic wine selection and heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a space where we can set up an information table for upcoming events and information on how to become involved with the HLLC.

In the past 75-125 donors and volunteers have attended these events, RSVP's are requested. The currently available dates are as follows: March 26th, June 18th, September 17th, and November 5th. Media Sponsors

Help our friends find homes, and make a name for your business or organization as a supporter of the Humane League of Lancaster County. Sponsorships available include the HLLC Tuesday morning pet adoption promotion on the morning show with FM 97. Help to support an advertisement in a local newspaper to help a furry friend find a home. Listeners, readers and viewers all tune in specifically to hear about the pet who is waiting for a new home, and spread the word with families and friends.
