Forrest - 66930 - A 1 yr. old hound mix.  Being a young guy, he hasn't had a chance to learn much so he may need obedience training.  Luckily he has a great personality so being patient while he learns about home life will be easy.  He is a silly dog and would like to live in a house where they appreciate his hound qualities, especially when he talks.  Like any typical hound he loves to follow his nose and would like a big yard to explore, or plenty of walks with good smells!

#B.B. 66356- 8 year old female Rottie. B.B. is very calm and well mannered. She loves lots of attention and being an only dog would make her quite happy.  She has been tested with cats and seems like she could live with them.  B.B. is pretty much housebroken, but needs a reminder and a regular schedule.  She is a super affectionate dog and seems to think that she belongs on everyone's lap. Giving kisses and sleeping are her favorite things to do!

Looking for the right dog for your lifestyle? Our Placement Assessment Test can help!

What Is Placement Assessment Testing?

The Placement Assessment Test (P.A.T.) allows us to better determine what type of household would be best for each dog, from a calm and quiet lap dog to a rambunctious adolescent retriever or a shy and sensitive hound.  The test is made up of a series of repetitive events that allows us to gauge a dog’s reaction to different stimulus so that we can determine how active, calm, nervous or sensitive the dog is.  Once a dog gets settled into a home, their behavior may change for the better or for the worse as dogs go through an adjustment period when they arrive in their new home, but the test helps us develop a better understanding of  what the dog needs to be successful in his or her new home so that we can help you and the dog find the right match!
