Periodically, the Humane League of Lancaster County receives
purebred dogs. We try our best to adopt them out to appropriate
owners. If we cannot, or if the public does not express interest
in the dog, we will contact a rescue league to inform them
of the situation. We will assume that if the rescue league
does not return the phone call from The Humane League within
a 24-hour period, they are not interested in the dog. The
Humane League of Lancaster County, unless under unique circumstances,
will not call a rescue league immediately after receiving
of a purebred dog. Please call or email the Managing Director
of Operation at The Humane League if you have any questions,
393-6551.
